Shamanic Journeying Circle

Event Details: Please join us for shamanic journeying, ceremony and invocation of spirit on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.

This is an gathering for us to come together, to shift consciousness and travel on the drum's vibration, to enter Non-Ordinary Reality and connect with our spirit guides, power animals and teachers for the healing and guidance they can provide. Circle is facilitated by Renna Shesso. While many participants' backgrounds lean towards Core Shamanism, we welcome all traditions and levels of experience to join us.
Bring:
- Drum and/or rattle
- small blanket or yoga mat
- Scarf (optional: to cover your eyes)
- Note-taking materials
- $5-$10 donation toward the space's rental
We meet in the upstairs chapel of the First Unitarian Society of Denver. Arrive between 6:45 and 7 PM. At 7:00 PM, we'll formally call the quarters, set intention and begin. We'll have time for several journeys - and the evocative drumming and dance that support them - then will formally close the circle and depart by 9 PM. Some brief discussion/Q&A perhaps, but mostly journeying, the avenue of spiritual connection which is at the heart of this practice.
To help assure that this is a safe and nurturing place in which to do our spiritual work, these gatherings are drug- and alcohol-free. Our format is not designed to accommodate young children, so please make other arrangements for their care. Please see our Meetup link for more on shamanism and children.

Event TIME Details: Doors at 6:45 PM, we'll circle at 7 PM
Directions: One block south off Colfax, on the NE corner of Lafayette St and East 14th Avenue. This is about one mile due east of the State Capitol, in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver.
