Ritual Drumming and Percussion intensives
When: 3 (6) week sessions
Where: Denver, Colorado
The heart of Rhythm and Spirit: Drum Beat of Life
Event Details: Students in these classes will learn basic and advanced technique for the Djembe, Dhundun, Conga, Shakere etc. We will also cover sacred songs of the Orisha. Baba Ogunji has over twenty years experiance with bands, ensembles and as a drum circle facilitator. He has studied with Mohammad Khalif Camara, Baba Joda, Bataki Camberlin ans the NW African Ballet. These classes are for all levels. 6 classes per. session
Event Location: TBA in Denver
Event TIME Details: Starting June 10, 2008 and continuing till August
Directions: The location and time will be determined by number of enrolled participants minimum 5 and Max of 10 students per. session. Those who enroll before June 1st will be given a 10% discount. These classes will be facilitated by Master drummer Baba Ogunji. Checks or money orders can made out in care of Usamah Zaid
