On the corner of E. Weaver Pl and Broadway
A couple of blocks north of Arapahoe Rd.
Join Silver Branch Golden Horn for our Yule ritual.
The officiate for this rite will be SBGH member and new protogrove organizer, William E. Ashton of the new Mountain Ancestors Protogrove in Boulder.
This will be a Norse ritual and our patrons are Skadhi and Ullr. Please feel free to bring offerings to the patrons or any deity of your choosing, but please be mindful of the size and biodegradability of your sacrifice. There is a limit to the amount that we can burn or bury later. A prayer, a song or a poem are always welcome. Also, we ask that you not invoke any chaos/trickster/dark gods or goddesses since this is a celebration of life, joy, and order.
Everyone is welcome, so please bring the family and friends. The rite is kid friendly but not kid oriented. For the feasting after the ritual, bring a potluck item to share (and to provide for any special dietary needs you may have) and a canned food item for charity. Canned foods donated at ritual are given to the Gateway Battered Women’s shelter.
