Hearthside Haven announces...

Hearthside Haven's Samhain Celebration

When: Oct. 30th. 2004
Where: East Hartford, Connecticut

Samhain Celebration of the Ancestors

Event Details: You are cordially invited to Hearthside Haven's Samhain Celebration of the Ancestors. During ritual there will be a "Pagan Trick-or-Treating" and an Honoring of the Ancestors. Bring a memento of a "Dearly-Departed" to place on the Ancestor's Altar, if you wish. We will be outside for ritual, dress appropriately. We robe moderately for this ritual (optional - street clothes are OK if you prefer) . After ritual, we get together for a potluck feast and relaxation. Kids are very welcome and they may put on costumes if they wish.

Hearthside Haven is an incorporated Norse/Druidic/Eclectic Family based coven. We gather to celebrate the Sabbats and Esbats and to pass down our traditions to our children. Hearthside Haven is a place where we, as Pagans, can raise our children within our religion positively. Rituals include the children to their abilities, understanding and willingness. Their participation is encouraged. All families (insert your definition here) , family-friendly Pagans and sincere open-minded seekers are welcome.

We offer Rites of Passage Rituals from birth and naming to coming-of-age to LEGAL handfastings to funerals and requiems. Plus we have classes to train priests/priestesses as interest is shown.

Welcome to our Family!
