Metaphysical Conference

Event Details: This conference is for those who love learning and are looking for more advanced techniques. It is a weekend of solid workshops and panels, aimed at those who've been doing healing, divination, magick, etc. for years (or decades) . We also have introductory classes because sometimes an expert in one system wants to learn about something they haven't tried yet.

Over the last half century we've proven that magick/energy work is real. Now we need to combine what people from magickans to dowsers to spiritualists to psychics to scientists have learned separately, and start building a future in which these "esoteric" and "occult" practices are part of daily life.
It's like sex in the Victorian period, we all do it, but no one is supposed to talk about it!

Talents become abilities by using them, and it's really annoying that most people have to "reinvent the wheel" when someone has already figured out easier ways to do things, but kept the knowledge hidden. We are creating a venue for teaching each other, and for building a body of knowledge and skills the way other disciplines do. For this reason, this we are inviting not just pagans, but all energy healers, dowsers, mediums, ghostbusters, parapsychologists, and mystics of all faiths- all spiritual practices are welcome; & it's about learning from those who have been doing what we want to learn. We also hope that by coming together we will learn to respect what the other groups are doing, and they will understand us better as well.
"You can't do magick while looking down your nose at it."

Workshops and panels will run from noon to 11 pm Friday and 9am-11pm Saturday, and 10-3 Sunday. We'll be running three or four classes at once, plus a all-panel discussion area with panels every other hour. We'll also have vendors, dealers, healers, and readers, and a quiet/healing room.

Our focus includes healing, divination, energy work/magick, and religion, spirituality, & folklore. There's cross-over between those and the edges will blur a bit.

Weekend $88, Day rate $44, discounts for elders, students, returning attendees, and volunteers (if you work half the con, get in free) . Hotel costs are separate.
Pre-reg discounts:

$55 from 3/1-5/31
$44 for the month of February (until 2/28)
Day passes:
$33 Friday or Sunday
$44 for Saturday

The theme for 2017 is Joy/Bliss/Ecstasy, other classes are on healing, divination, magick, ancestor work, warrior work, and integrating spiritual practices into daily activities.
At the panels we bring together speakers with diverse backgrounds who can share perspectives on things we are approaching from different directions. (No one approaches everything the same way!) Proposals accepted until mid July.

We record most of the workshops (some, like ones on Tarot spreads or energy healing make little sense audio only) so if you miss one (or the conference) you can still listen to it later. Check the website for more information and to download MP3s. This is a great way to find out if we have what you are looking for!

As beings of spirit AND body, it’s time to stop dreaming about our non-physical abilities and learn to use them: safely, ethically, responsibly, and practically.
Like us on Facebook and check out our website, as we post Speakers, workshop descriptions, vendors etc as they come in. (We'd appreciate feedback whether you're coming or not to let us know what attracts you or repels you about our conference. Thanks.)
