Event Details: CWPN Hike of Loverís Leap in New Milford CT with Trail Master Christopher Kimball
Saturday, Oct 13th at 11am Loverís Leap, New Milford CT.

Hike: easy to moderate

Meet in parking lot for a brief ritual. Weíll begin our hike crossing the red bridge and enjoy the wonders of the fall colors.

Cost: Free
What to bring: Please bring water and comfortable shoes

Christopher Kimball has hiked the farms and undeveloped land of Connecticut for the better part of the last 40 years. He is an enthusiastic naturalist and herbalist with a particular interest in wild edibles. He has been a practicing pagan of the folkish persuasion for nearly 30 years.

Follow Route 84 to Exit 7 (Route 7)
From Route 7: Turn east on to Still River Drive (2.4 miles south of Veteranís Bridge or 2.7 miles north of the Brookfield Town Line) Drive 3/4 miles passing a 4-way stop intersection (Pickett District Road) , continue over the Still River then railroad tracks and passing the intersection with Pumpkin Hill Road. The parking lot is the next right before crossing the Marsh Memorial Bridge over the Housatonic River. http://friendsofloversleapstatepark.org/FLLSP/Welcome.html
