GAEA New Seeker Orientation

When: Every Wednesday
Where: Jacksonville, Florida

GAEA New Seeker Orientation

Event Details: New Seeker Orientation

GAEA is always open to New Seekers of Pagan Witchcraft. All individuals interested in participation in GAEA Gatherings or enrolling in the GAEA Witchcraft course must complete the New Seeker Orientation . . . the Guardian Gateway into GAEA.

The New Seeker Orientation is designed to create a Welcoming, Caring and Successful environment for new members. The purpose aimed at transitioning the Seeker into GAEA and addressing any questions that will alleviate stress for the new member. The New Seeker Orientation process is extensive to ensure your sincerity, dedication and commitment before we invest our time, energy and expertise in you. If you think this is too strict, then we recommend other groups that have no protection barriers to entry.

GAEA is a public Grove with private Covens within its borders that is always open to New Seekers. However, GAEA is very selective in who is permitted to join our Grove as the Coven sizes are limited to 13 members only. Our goal is to ensure that all energies are compatible for current and prospective members. It is important to note that all Seekers will not be granted acceptance into a Coven. Only those who have completed this New Seeker Orientation will be offered a GAEA Membership with the ability to participate in our Gatherings and enroll in the GAEA Witchcraft Course.

We encourage all prospective members to watch our GAEA Brochure (Microsoft PowerPoint required to view) and read the "GAEA About Us" page to learn more about us.

Who is GAEA?

GAEA is a Pagan Witchcraft based spiritual, educational and social religious institution focused on establishing a sacred space where individuals can practice The Craft on a regular basis, while forming spiritual partnerships. For the past 7 years, our dedicated local and online Grove has hosted monthly Gatherings that include Esbats, Sabbats and Power Days, where we have celebrated in ritual. We do not promote alcoholism, illegal drug use or anything that is inappropriate for children or Military Personnel; therefore, everything we do is “kid/military friendly.”

Education is offered to those seeking to become a Pagan Witch through the Enchanted Campus. If you are looking for a dedicated group that can provide assistance on your spiritual path; AND you have the will, commitment and passion to begin Nature's Walk on the Wheel of Life, then we welcome you to begin your journey into our safe, friendly and blessed place.

What to expect:

Each New Seeker meeting is an opportunity for prospective members to learn about GAEA and for GAEA to learn about you. Each New Seeker will have to answer questions about themselves as well as ask GAEA questions.

Children are a large part of our activities, therefore ensuring their safety is of the utmost importance to us. Therefore, each New Seeker will be expected to present their Picture ID to prove their identity and legal age.

What to bring:
* Talkative Self
* Cheerful Attitude
* Picture ID to prove Identity and Age.

RSVPing: If you would like to attend, then please join GAEA at http://www.ambrea.org/grove to learn how.

Requirements:
* Adults Only - All attendees must be at least 18 years old.
* Good hygiene must be practiced by all attendees to ensure you are not offensive to other participants. This means taking a bath or shower, brushing your teeth and using deodorant.

Cost: Free. Bottled Water, Coffee & Tea will be provided.
