Ritual Craft Class Series
Have you ever attended a public sabbat or esbat and wondered what was going on, and why did these people do this? Or have you been crafting your own rituals for years and are looking to add some zest and inspiration to what you already do? Our Ritual Craft Series may be what you are looking for. Our class series will begin with the very basics and then show you how to craft meaningful rituals for your life and your community!
We will cover topics including:
Ritual, What is it and why do we do it?
Circle Etiquetteand how to meaningfully participate in group rituals.
Aspects of ritual including correspondences, timing, environment, attitude, music, meditation, altars, tools, costumes, and safety.
Rites of Passage, Esbats, Sabbats, and Rituals for Personal Evolvement.
Aunt Clara's and Kitchen Sink rituals, good intentions gone horribly wrong.
Crafting Solitary Rituals.
Planning, crafting and performing group rituals.
KISS Principal.
Nyt, will share her extensive knowledge of ritual planning and performance. She is High Priestess and co-founder of the Circle of the Dragon's Crystal Unfolding Path, as well as a degreed initiate of both the Jolian and Draconian traditions. Nyt has been a practicing Witch for over eighteen years. She has more than fifteen years in public ritual crafting and performing for groups from ten to two hundred.
Our class series will be offered on a monthly basis. The classes are not linear, meaning you may attend whichever classes you choose to. However it is encouraged to work through the series for those who are serious about developing their ritual craft skills. As is part of our Fundamentals of Witchcraft Series also, Nyt offers some additional insight and hands on instruction and practice at all open circles, at Circle of the Sublime Elm. Each class is approximately two hours in length.
There is a $5.00 Charge for the class.
