Writing with the Elements with Salvatore Marici
This workshop will provide a tool to discover something about ourselves while using the elements in a writing exercise. Writing communicates from author to reader. However, if we begin to write a poem without knowing where we want to go, we will discover something about ourselves. As observers of the elements, we will use nouns and verbs to show fire, air, water, and earth. We will then invite the spirit. With the spirit’s help, the words we wrote and with new words, we will begin to show how the elements influence us, and our interactions with them. At the end of the workshop, each author will have a start of a poem that if he/she rework and with a good muse, will show a self-discovery. Bring a notebook and pen.
Bardic Circle with Wendyl Jay
"Ages ago, tribes, clans, families would gather around the community fires and share stories. Stories of their heroes, Gods, and even everyday living experiences. It was the way traditions were understood and carried on for future generations. In today's society, many have lost sight of the stories told by our ancestors. But there is a new generation, wishing to remember the old ways of lore. This is our intent, to draw in the old and entwine to new.... become a part of the tradition. "

Qabalah With Bobbi Buxton
Come explore the ancient mystical laws of life and nature known as Qabalah in an open discussion workshop with Bobbi Buxton.
Bobbi Buxton's mother was a professional astrologer to many Hollywood stars and her father was a psychic. The Grandmother that raised her was called a blessing by her neighbors with the potions she would make and the advise she would give. Is it any wonder that Bobbi grew up with a uncontrollable curiosity into the world of "dark arts". She is Reiki Master and minister, She has been a High Priestess and studied with various covens including a Gardnerian Coven. Around the age of sixteen her first readings began with the Zohar about Jewish mysticism known as Kabbalah. This course of study would be a never ending, life long path, for her. She was fortunate enough to grow up in the 60's, where she had the benefit of learning many different occult classic subjects, first hand. This was a very adventurous time in a world that was only beginning to uncover many of the once forbidden studies. With nearly fifty years into the studies she shares her knowledge with those that are interested in learning and sharing. Her first belief is that we are all teachers as well as students. She invites you to come a share at her workshop on Qabalah.
