Breccia's Saging, Rite of Passage and Esbat

There are only a few Rites of Passage in Each persons life. Please join us as together we honor and celebrate Breccia, as he steps across the threshold and takes his place as a Sage and Elder to our Community.

January 11, 2013

Gathering at 7:00 pm

Ritual at 7:30 pm

A Sage is an elder to the community who has stepped back and forward to gift to our community their wisdom and sound judgment. they act as mentors to our community through the use of their personal knowledge to offer mystical guidance.

As Breccia has been such a rock and foundation of our local community, from his tireless work with both his love Sublime Elm and through other groups, such as OPC. We open this ritual to our community at large and invite you to attend.

This ritual takes place in two parts.

1. The Saging, this is a mens mystery and this portion of the ritual is open only to the men in the community. (There will be a discussion and roundtable of women's mysteries by the women during this time.)

2. Honoring and Blessing of the New Sage and finish of the ritual. this portion of the ceremony is opened to the women of the community .

3. Saging Reception and Celebration

To our Men: Please RSVP as soon as possible, we need an accurate accounting for our mens portion of the ritual. You may be asked to assist in some small way with the ritual. this can and will be as powerful for you as it is for Breccia !

We encourage the community to bring a small blessing or token for our new sage. If you would like to assist with the community gift, please contact Duir or Nyt.

Our Feast is Potluck!!!
So, please bring something to share!
Your food item should be able to feed at least a dozen people.

We encourage you to bring hand instruments drums, flutes, tambourines, claves, maracas, bells, noise makers, and such.
