10th Annual SPPD Event!
Event Details: Savannah Pagan Pride Day is proud to announce that we will be celebrating our 10th anniversary this year! This will be our biggest event ever and you do not want to miss out! This year’s Savannah Pagan Pride Day will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm at Emmet Park in downtown Savannah, GA.
We are ecstatic to announce that Fiona Horne will be our special guest speaker this year and you can learn more about her at www.fionahorne.com
Please come join us for a fabulous day filled with vendors, workshops, children’s activities and entertainment. The event is entirely free, but we do ask for a canned food donation to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank. We look forward to seeing everyone and enjoying this wonderful day with you.

Event Location: Emmet Park, downtown on Bay Street in Savannah
Event TIME Details: 11:00 am to 9:00 pm
Directions: Emmet Park is found right off Bay Street near the Savannah River. Bordering E. Bay Street is a beautiful, tree-shaded park named for Irish patriot and orator Robert Emmet. The park is several blocks long.
Found here is a Vietnam Veterans Memorial and historic Harbor Light (1858) , a gas-powered light erected as a navigational aid to vessels in the Savannah River.
The light stands 77 feet above the river and helped ships avoid the hulls of ships scuttled by British forces during the siege of 1779 in an effort to prevent French warships from using the harbor.
