Event Details: Pagan Pride
Pagans cannot always live their lives openly and honestly because of the fear that surrounds them. Do you have pride being a pagan? Ever have someone wonder what paganism is all about? Then you need to come to Pagan Pride in Des Moines at Union Park at 1801 Pennsylvania Avenue on September 26th!

We wish not only to reduce discrimination against us, but to present the value that our paths can bring to society, while emphasizing that we do not seek converts but ask that each person honor the Divine in the manner that seems best
Everyone is welcome to come and join and no one is ban from this event. ALL IS WELCOME!
There will be an opening ritual, workshops, shopping vendors, entertainment with the duet by Coyote Moon and Gypsy Belly Dancers Danza Mystique Des Moines Iowa
Come and meet new friends, reunite with old friends.
Show everyone that you are proud to be who you are.
Last year we had 200 in attendance. This year we are going to top that.
The Pagan Pride will start at 10a.m and end at 6:30 pm. Price of Admission is 2 items for the Dallas County Food Pantry or 2 donations for the animal shelter. Or both or more if you would like to give more. Both are great causes, so you can bring the whole family, all your friends, co-workers, school mates’ heck just bring your whole neighborhood. Everyone is welcome to come.
Food will be catering by. Fat Tuesdays from Des Moines, Iowa New Orleans and cajun style food....they will also have things to eat that won't toast your tonsils for those of us less brave.

Brandi's Homemade Helpers from Des Moines, Iowa Crivovacted smoked meats, soaps, lotions, lotion bars, mineral make up, jewelry, powder, candles, and lots of other goodies

We still have vendor spots available to anyone interested. The cost for the month of August to vend is $50.00, the price goes up again next month so get your spot now. Contact Gypsy or myself for details.
Let us all spend the day in the sun with the Lord and Lady, and let us celebrate for what the blessings that they have given us. Let us tell and show others that being a pagan is awesome!
Help out at Pagan Pride.
We still need some baked goods for the Pagan Pride Bake Sale. We can use more volunteers.
We will end the day with chanting and a spiral dance and a closing ritual.
We are now selling Pagan Pride bracelets for $3.00 in the colors of blue or purple, if interested in buying one or more please contact one of the coordinators.
