Spirits Journey presents...

Dr. Epperly lecture on Villisca

When: Dec. 5th. 2009
Where: Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Iowa historian speaks about unsolved ax murders in Villisca

Event Details: We have a very special visitor to Spirits Journey!
Saturday December 5th 12:00 - 3:00 P.M.
It is said that crime historian Dr. Epperly, knows more about the facts behind the 1912 Villisca, Iowa axe murder case than any one living.

In short, eight people, six of them children were murdered in their beds in the dark of night in the small town of Villisca, Iowa in June of 1912. There were many suspects but the crime was never solved. It has been said that the house still holds the ghosts of those involved.
Today, the house can be booked for an over night stay for those who dare to experience paranormal activity. ( Feel free to check out the official Villisca website.)

Dr. Epperly first heard of the mass murder when he was a child and began studying it seriously in college. He has studied this one case since 1955 - interviewing witnesses, examining the evidence, and writing numerous articles about the fascinating mystery.

Retired professor, Dr. Epperly is now writing a book, after consulting with the filmmakers for the documentary, "Villisca: Living With a Mystery."

Dr. Epperly will offer a captivating presentation on the facts of the case, side stories, and theories in this still today unsolved mystery. He will also provide question and answer time.

Present will be some investigators who have experienced an evening in the Villisca house for questions and answers regarding the paranormal aspects of this famous Iowa mystery.

Spirits Journey invites you to attend this captivating afternoon and requests a $5.00 donation to attend to help us with some of the cost to bring Dr. Epperly here.

In return for your donation, you will receive 10% off of store merchandise on that day! (Some exclusions may apply.)
Space will be limited, so please call Spirits Journey early to reserve your spot! 366-3600
