Blood & Spirit: Honoring Our Ancestors

When: Saturday, October 30th from 6:30 p.m. - 1 a.m.
Where: Transamoeba, 1325 S. Wabash
Admission: $15 - $25 sliding scale

No one will be turned away for lack of funds. This event is drug and alcohol free.

Samhain... Summer's End... Sap returning to the root, lifeforce returning to the core, the illusion of death gripping the land as trees bare their branches and skies turn gray and cold...

This is the time that the veil that holds us separate from the worlds beyond is at its thinnest. When the wheel of the year spins to this point, we have the chance to reach out to those who have gone before as they in turn reach for us. Death touches Life. Memory touches the Present. And thus the Future is born.

Join the Chicago Reclaiming community as we honor those who have passed with honor, our gratitude, and of course - celebration!
