WICCA 101 CLASS
Event Details: On hold for the present time.
WICCA, or witchcraft, is an earth religion, a relinking with the life force of nature. We each have within ourselves the capacity to reach out and experience that feeling of oneness with all life. WICCA is a participatory revelation, a celebratory action, leading to a greater understanding of oneness and the universe. By studying our past, through myth, ritual drama, poetry, music and love, we can learn to live in harmony.
WICCA IS a Nature-oriented religion: most of its members are involved in one way or another with the ecology movement and current environmental issues. They do not accept the arbitrary concept of innate sin or absolute evil; and they do not believe in a heaven or a hell, other than those, which are ones own creation.
To learn more, a Wicca 101 class is being offered on Wednesday Evenings, from 7 pm until 10 pm. Starting on September 30th and continuing for 7 weeks. Class schedule is as follows: September 30th
October 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th
November 4th and 11th
Place of class: Bear Book And Candle
Cost of Class: Purchase items as needed for the class from the shop. Discounts will be offered. Some items may be borrowed. CD's and/or DVD's may be checked out with a refundable fee.
There is a small refrigerator at the Shop. Feel free to bring water, juice and snacks as desired.
If you are under the age of 18 you are required to have a permission note from your parent or guardian.
