Weaving Women announces...

Weaving Women "Wheel of the Year" Class

When: Jan. 26th. 2013
Where: Urbana, IL, Illinois

Weaving Women Open Meetings for 2012

Event Details: Weaving Women is teaching a class at Beads and Botanicals in Urbana on Jan 26th. This is the first of our 2 open meetings for 2013.

For those of you not familiar with Weaving Women, we are a women's eclectic pagan group local to the Champaign/ Urbana area. We do ritual, enjoy woman friendly space, and share lots of good food. We meet every other Saturday at 7 pm for approximately 2 hours.

Anyone is welcome at the class, it is not for women only. Here's the class announcement:

Introduction to Wheel of the Year with Weaving Women.
Many traditions incorporate a set of eight celebrations (often called
Sabbats) over the course of the year. These celebrations are
collectively referred to as the Wheel of the Year. This introductory
class will identify and briefly explain each of these Sabbats,
touching on how they fit into the over-arching storyline referred to
as the turning of the wheel. It will also include some suggestions on
things you can do to celebrate each Sabbat.
This class will be taught by the members of Weaving Women, an eclectic
study and ritual group that opens for members each January. At the end
of the class, they will introduce the group, explain their approach to
study and ritual, and invite those who are interested to sign up for
an open meeting for potential new members.
Cost: $10.
Saturday, January 26, 7pm to 8pm

Women who are interested in joining Weaving Women for 2013 and who can't come to the class can contact me about coming to the second open meeting on Feb. 9th, email me at
