Please Join Us for Hekate Rising!
Event Details: All womyn-born womyn are invited to join us at Lothlorien in Needmore, Indiana for this magickal weekend of Sisterhood and discovery as we explore the Mysteries of Hekate reborn for the 21st Century. The site is a 109 acre nature sanctuary maintained by Elvin HOME (Holy Order of Mother Earth) . Most of the facilities are for tent camping but we will also have a pop-up camper in the main field for crones who need something a little gentler for their bones. There are composting toilets and hot showers on site. There is also a large building with a kitchen that we will use for meal preparation. All Sisters are expected to do their share in picking up shifts either cooking or cleaning up so that no one is stuck with all the work.
There will be rituals and workshops but the highlight of the event is the Mysteries of Hekate, which have been recreated for the 21st Century by the Mystai of the Moon. All womyn who attend will be welcome to participate in the Mysteries to the extent that they feel called by the Goddess. Like any Mystery celebration there are inner and outer rites for those who feel ready for them. some of the workshops offered will be for those who feel called to participate in the inner Mysteries to prepare them.
Other workshops will also be going on and we welcome those who would like to present a workshop to do so. Just contact Dreamweaver with your ideas and she will be happy to get back with you and make it happen!
