Yule: The Celebration of the Winter Solstice

The Celebration on the Winter Solstice
Event Details: Yule, The Winter Solstice, a time of rebirth and renewal. Please join us to celebrate the returning Light and the birth of the Child of Promise. As the Sun renews, so we renew, spiraling out of the Darkness and back to the Light.
Winter Queen will bring through a Goddess for Trance Prophesy and we will raise energy for personal and community renewal.
Please bring a dish to share! Gather at 4:45 PM, ritual at 5PM Sharp! Doors will lock at 5, so if you are late, please join us at 7 for the feast (we will look for any late party people once ritual is over) .
Also, our monetary collection of $10, or what you can, will be going towards a Gift Certificate (s) to Toys R Us, Babies R Us and/or Target with which NYC NOW'ers will purchase holiday gifts and other needed items for children displaced by Hurricane Sandy. Please be as generous as you can! Yule is about the Child of Promise.... let's help some littles. :) If you lack the funds, no worries! Please come anyway!!
If you can, bring a donation of non-perishable food to the Church Within. We'll donate it to the Food pantry.
Also, a NOW tradition is the Magical Gift Exchange! Bring a small gift ($10 or less) and see what you get in return!

Event TIME Details: Gather at 4:45pm, ritual begins 5 sharp
Directions: The Church Within in located in the Fountain Square area of Downtown Indy, just east of the I70/ I65 split. 1125 Spruce street is south of Prospect Ave and on the corner is a KFC and Mi Veracruz Grocery store.
