Event Details: Imbolc: Healing, Transformation and Inspiration
The Wheel turns yet again, bringing us closer and closer to warmer days. Yet we still walk through a precarious time. Life stirs, but at a moment's notice cold winds can blow, snow can again blanket the earth, deep freezes seize us and life struggles on. The Dark Time of Winter can be difficult for many, but at Imbolc, the Sabbat of the Great Goddess Brid, we can come to Her Well, approach Her Forge and seek the Source of Creativity for Healing... Transformation... Inspiration! We will also call upon Her father, The Dagda for blessings of fertility of all kinds!
Please join us at The Church Within, gathering at 4:45. Ritual starts at 5 pm sharp! Please note: Doors WILL lock at 5 and will not be opened until after ritual for any latecomers. Please plan your trip accordingly, look up directions, and arrive on time. Those who are late are more than welcome to join us for the feast after the ritual!
To bring: A white cloth (this can be a hankie, strip of fabric, scarf, anything you like) , a dish to share for the feast and a donation of $5-10, or what you can to support the Food Pantry. You may also bring non-perishable items to donate as well.
Those who are willing to share poetry (whether you wrote it or not) , songs, arts of any kind PLEASE DON'T BE SHY! Bring it along for the Poetry and Bardic portion of the ritual! And let Tamrha know if you plan to share via email :)
