Lamplight Circle announces...
Lamplight Circle at Krewe du Vieux

Come watch the most debauched parade of the carnival season!
Event Details: It's official.. carnival season has kicked off, and Lamplight members love to get together with each other and celebrate Mardi Gras, so we're headed to the quarter for one of the quirkiest parades of the season.
Krewe du Vieux is one of the most well-known parades during the season, and highlights the absurd and satirizes the local colour of New Orleans. Often thought of as the debauched krewe, KdV is a wonderful site to watch, with truly unique (and often overtly sexual) floats filled with double entendres that will make you take dozens of pictures. Lamplight will meet up at Cafe Envie on Decatur street, and will stake out a spot to observe as the floats roll right by. Dress to stay warm, bring a camera (and cash for food/drinks) , and be prepared to catch beads! Friends and family are welcome to come.
