ALisa Starkweather presents...

Priestess Path Apprenticeship

When: Sep. 11th. 2009 - Jun. 5th. 2010
Where: Petersham, Massachusetts

A nine month, eight weekend, women's mystery school. New cycle

Event Details: Priestess Path Apprenticeship is an nine month, eight weekend program for women that takes place in New England. The archetpye of the priestess has been long buried in our psyche. This powerful work asks us to excavate her as women on our spirit path in order to make a shift in the balance on earth, dreaming women's visions to the surface of humanity's consciousness.
Through a series of rituals and experiences such as firewalking, dancing with serpents, breathwork, Shadow Work, speaking with the grandmothers, entering caves, personal empowerment and circle work, women find their way to living their deepest visions of self and service. Although Goddess-oriented, Priestess Path welcomes all beliefs and sees all women as equal in the task of what we have before us to do in revisioning and protecting life.
Priestess Path's task is not to train women to be priestesses, but allows women to access deep resources that are her birthright by giving them fertile grounds to give birth to her deepest vision of self. It is not Wiccan based but archetypal in nature with symbols that speak to our journey of being human and wanting connection and community to feed our roots. As the founder of this work, I find what is here mystical, magical and miraculous and even after ten years, I am amazed at what comes together from the seriousness of women's commitments to show up here.
The program began in 1998 and we have over 225 enormously committed women graduates. There is an optional second year that focuses on leadership and manifesting life goals that takes place over five additional weekends, every other month. Women come in from all over the country and Canada. If you are interested please be in touch. 24 women come in each September and we are presently opening registration for 2009 with interviews beginning in January of 2009.

Testimonials (more on the website) :

"ALisa is an exquisite role model and guide for a person to learn how to craft a life infused with beauty, love and spirit. She is a consummate cheerleader in supporting women to access their core selves and commit to living a life fully by manifesting their true potential. For most of us this requires much courage to break out of the encrusted patterns that have held us captive to perceiving ourselves an our lives in a limited way. ALisa is able to spin a container so rich and whole, safe and trustworthy that it is capable of holding the brightness of our true selves, so instead of squinting and shying away, you are enticed into standing tall and dancing with all the glory spirit can bestow." Robin

"I have never met an incarnate quite like ALisa. What makes her amazing is that she is so human, and she shows us all of herself. She is fierce, get-down-dirty, she’s wild. She brings magic alive for us. She calls upon your deep self to be present. She takes you to that hidden place where your secret hopes and fears are kept, and when you finally reach it and voice your truth after years, perhaps lifetimes of holding back, she takes you further. She is not afraid to really go there with you. Few facilitators are able to achieve the depth and soul of the magic she works. Even fewer are able to keep people feeling safe, grounded, and protected- held in compassion at the same time. She is just so alive! One of the few people I have met who really lives: like her hair is on fire! " Mariella

"This is the best gift that I have ever given to myself. It has truly changed me and my life. I walk more freely. ALisa makes manifest the Goddess in all the women she touches. The apprenticeship has healed and transformed me on levels deeper than I expected. ALisa’s work in the world for the healing of women needs to be deeply appreciated and recognized. The Priestess Path embodies ancient wisdom from long ago, brings one back to the realization of Woman as great healers in the world. Embracing this path is embracing you." Danielle

"My life as I knew it before The Priestess Path does not exist for me any longer. I encourage all women to walk this path. The gift you will receive is the gift of reuniting with your soul. You will no longer be content to live an ordinary life when the extraordinary awaits you." Satori

"I came to Priestess Path to remember and be retaught the ancient ways. I came seeking support and deepening for that which I privately remembered, to gather courage to show this part of myself publicly. I came hoping to reclaim a public priestess voice. Today I feel that I have learned more than I could digest both here and in the private quest to reclaim my body, my voice and my embodied sexuality. Deepest respect." Carol

"Priestess Path is like a great adventure that goes deep into your own soul." Pat
