When: Ongoing Basis
Where: na, Massachusetts

Celtic / Goddess Correspondence Course

Event Details: Discover the role and power of the Moon in Celtic religion, folklore and mythology, and learn how to connect with the ancient power and symbols of the Celtic Moon Goddess through this thirteen-lesson correspondence course with Celtic priestess, scholar, writer, teacher and musician Sharynne MacLeod NicMhacha.
Since the earliest times, from stone circles and passage graves to the rites and customs of the Druids, the Moon has played a powerful role in pagan worship and celebration.
In 13 chapters representing the Moon's monthly and annual cycles, this course is based on 'Queen of the Night: Rediscovering the Celtic Moon Goddess' by Sharynne NicMhacha (Red Wheel / Weiser Press) .
Explore the rich tapestry of Celtic lunar mythology through poetry, charms and prayers from the world of bards, shamans and fairies, as expressed through Celtic and Indo-European myth and ritual.
The course will consists of readings from the book, as well as meditations, journeys, rituals and sacred writings: each lesson corresponds with a chapter from the book.
From the Moon's role in the secret meetings of women spinners to the roles played by sacred birds and animals, 'Queen of the Night' is an informative and inspirational path for anyone who wishes to understand and experience the power of the Moon.
Read more about Ms. NicMhacha's training, lineage, books, CD's and workshops - and register for this course - by visiting her website Dun na Sidhe (located at www. mobiusbandwidth. com / dns.html) .
