Samhain Celebration
Event Details: Join us for our Samhain Celebration on Thursday November 1st at 7 pm.
Celebrate the turning of the Wheel to the New Year! It is a time to reflect on those that have passed and the cycle of life, death and eventual rebirth. We will be honoring our ancestors and also release those things that no longer serve us and start anew.
~Please bring an item to charge on the altar for the New Year and also bring a representation (photo, jewelry, etc) of those that have crossed to the other side to place on the ancestral altar.~
As a way of giving back, we are asking for a non-perishable food donation for the Community Cupboard Food Pantry, which is serviced by the Unitarian Universalist Church of Medford, our hosts. (Please see http://www.uumedford.org/pantry.html for more information.)
Everyone is welcome - Pagan or non-Pagan and no experience is required to attend. All we ask is that you have an open mind.
Your contribution is $10-$20 per person fee (sliding scale) - requested but not required - nobody will be turned away. All money collected will be used only to help cover the costs of this and future events. (Supplies, munchies, etc) .
