AwenTree welcomes Christopher Penczak [Witchvox Sponsor] announces...

Christopher Penczak's Descent of the Goddess Class

When: Oct. 16th. 2012
Where: Easthampton, Massachusetts

Delving into the deeper Mysteries of the Goddess

Event Details: Explore the mystery of initiation through the Descent of the Goddess. Reenacted in many witchcraft traditions during initiatory or seasonal rites, discover the seven fold meaning of the Goddess' descent to explore the magick of death, rebirth and love. Understand the pattern of initiation, of reaching a new level of consciousness and through the rebirth of the Goddess, become “free from fate.” Compare the seven gates through which she passes with the seven gated castles of Anwnn in Welsh myth, the alchemical operations, the ancient planets, the chakras and the Miracle of Bread in traditional craft. Experience an intense journey through the seven gates to experience your own rebirth and return. Learn what you must surrender to be reborn. Based on Christopher's newest book The Living Temple of Witchcraft Volume I: The Descent of the Goddess.

About Christopher Penczak:

Christopher Penczak is a Witch, teacher, writer and healing practitioner. His practice draws upon the foundation of both modern and traditional Witchcraft blended with the wisdom of mystical traditions from across the globe as a practitioner and teacher of shamanism, tarot, Reiki healing, herbalism, astrology and Qabalah. He is the founder of the Temple of Witchcraft tradition and system of magickal training based upon the material of his books and classes. He is an ordained minister primarily serving the New Hampshire and Massachusetts pagan and metaphysical communities through public rituals, private counsel and teaching, though he travels extensively teaching throughout the United States.

Christopher is a founding member of the Coven of a New Dawn, operating in various incarnations since 1999, and co-founder of the gay men’s group The Circle of the Sacred Thyrsus (2006-) . In 2008 Christopher was initiated as a High Priest in the Cabot Tradition of Witchcraft by Laurie Cabot, alongside Sully Erma of the rock band Godsmack. He continues to offer workshop for the Cabot Academy of Witchcraft.
