Blessed Be and Happy Midwinter!
Event Details: Join with the Priests and Priestesses of the Temple of Nine Wells-ATC, Our Lord and Lady of the Trinacrian Rose Church/Coven and The Temple of Diana as we celebrate Brighid’s fires of inspiration at Imbolc, known to some as Candlemas, and Lupercalia, the legendary festival of purification, fertility and the Golden Wolf.
At this season we herald the return of the Waxing Light, the life-giving forces of Spring and the triumph of light over darkness, Let us work our magicks to bring the light back to all of humanity, the animal kingdom and our Earth that all shall be fruitful in the coming year. Now begins a season for self-reflection which starts on Imbolc night and continues to the Vernal Equinox, Ostara. Imbolc is a time for ritual purification, contemplation and inner magickal workings. It is a quiet time to gather ones’ forces for the coming Spring. Let us work this night to reawaken the Earth Mother from Her slumber. Let us rouse Her with the joyous voices and chants of Her children who love Her. Let us leave old patterns and undesirable aspects of our lives behind, embracing a spiritual reawakening, psychic rebirth and the renewed desire to progress and evolve. Let us all manifest our magickal and mental gifts to put forth a blessing to make this world a place filled with joy! Let us create, not destroy. Let Love prevail.
