Walk with the OldOnes

When: Every Sunday
Where: Baltimore, Maryland

a time to honor the gods and reconnect

Event Details: Every Sunday at some point during Rites of Caffiena, we hear the bell sound. This bell calls us to all of our rituals. We finish our conversation, put down our food and head to the sanctuary. The sanctuary is a beautiful place. There's a flagstone path through the grass. The path leads to and then circles the Fire, the Well and the Tree. As the bell sounds, we gather and settle our bodies and our thoughts. Some mornings we start with our grove chant, others with our traditional call and response. Then we are led through a very brief meditation, seeking the harmony of the Land. The goal is to take this harmony with you all week. Once we've started the meditation and are nice and calm, someone usually provides a topic for thought. There may be some discussion. There may be more chanting. There may be some sharing of current happenings in our lives. After this time, we take another moment to regain the harmony with the Land. We leave and go back to the brisk pace of our lives. We pick up our conversations and our cups of coffee. We return to our discussions, refreshed, energized and reconnected.
