This course is designed for:
• Beginning students who want an introduction to magic and feminist spirituality in the Reclaiming tradition of Witchcraft.
• Experienced Reclaiming Witches who want to deepen both their connection to the sacred elements and their skills as priestesses.
• Activists of all kinds who want to learn about how we weave together our magic and our commitment to social justice.
• Students of other pagan traditions who want to familiarize themselves with Reclaiming ritual and magic.
Skills include keeping grounded and centered in ritual and in the streets; sacred drumming, singing, and dance; sensing, raising, and projecting energy; creating magical space, trance work, spell crafting, and structuring ritual.
The course will take place in a Baltimore-area location. We ask that people commit to attending the entire course. All Reclaiming events are clean and sober.
The course costs $20 to $50, sliding scale. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. We try to balance the need to justly compensate teachers for their labor with our commitment to make our work available to people of all economic levels.
