A Wiccan Walk Through Time

When: This is an ON DEMAND Event
Where: TBD, Maine

A WICCAN WALK THROUGH TIME - A Wiccan Experience

Event Details: A Wiccan Walk Through Time - in Four parts. This is more of an amble - a wandering through the mind, heart, spirit and soul of Wicca in a very short time. At the end of these four hours your understanding of the Craft, Wicca and Witches will be much clearer, with myths dispelled. You will even feel relaxed , energized and nurtured. You will see the natural evolution of it as a religion for those whose lives came from the soil and whose bodies returned to the soil. Whose view of the astronomy of heavenly bodies was deified….eclipses were matters of the Gods and life and death. The afternoon will be in four parts The first is a general conversation and a "show and tell about Wicca". The basics, foundational beliefs -some understandings, some of the Tools. A few mysteries - a general foundation of where Wicca comes from and it will be lightly sprinkled with scholarly references from Margaret Mead, Joseph Campbell and Margaret Murray and a few others. Which segue's nicely into Part ll. , which will be an eyes closed narrative a story visualizing the history and evolution of Wicca today. Once started as this is also a process no one may enter and we ask that you commit to stayfor this entire process. Part lll will be a cast - consecrated and purified circle inviting those who wish to experience a circle and and also those "watching - allowing participants to "sit out" The purpose of the inner circle will be one of Enlightenment and Peace..as it is also the eve of _Beltane, we might do something for the rites of spring something about the fires of life. As the circle is cast and quarters called into the working of the circle will be shared with those in attendance. Part IV will be Question and Answer - Tea and snacks are provided, a discussion of coven structure and outer courts and inner courts and the levels of initiation et al. Children under 18 are not admitted without a parent or parents written permission. There will be floor pillows and some blankets if the day is cool. Silverheart is a High Priest in The Minoan Temple - A New York City Coven. Silverheart has been active in the craft and studying for over thirty years, www.minoantemple.org
