A Solstice Celebration
Event Details: …emerging from darkness with poetry, dance and song.
The winter solstice, the longest night of the year. The light begins its slow return just as we enter the coldest part of our Maine winter. It is a time of physical bundling up and spiritual emergence.
Join us for this eclectic celebration of the Winter Solstice. Performances by Selcouth, Sanquine, Kait-ma, Jaiyana, Lord Byron and more!!!
Proceeds go to support Southern Maine Pagan Pride Day and the Beans, Leaves & Deities Pagan Coffee Talks.
Event Location: 302 Stevens Avenue in Portland
Event TIME Details: 7 p.m. - 9 p.m.
Directions: Located at the Portland New Church:
Starting on Congress Street (Rt. 22) at the 295 exit: travel down Congress going towards South Portland. You will come to an intersection with Westgate Shopping Center on your left and Stevens Ave on your right. Take a right onto Stevens at the light. Travel until you cross Brighton Ave; less then a block away you will reach the New Portland Church on the left hand side of the street.
