The Weaving - A Pagan Rite of Vision

Event Details: The Weaving: A Pagan Rite of Vision – October 2012

Song lines entwine. Ancient stories, ever new on misty breath.
Air feeds sacred Fire,
Warming our hearts and giving honor to our elders.
Ancestors called to witness. Dancers whirl.
Soul touching Soul touching Soul, we weave a Pagan place.
Our tribe prays for Vision.

Join us Saturday, October 6, 2012 for the first annual Weaving – A Pagan Rite of Vision
Casco, Maine

Welcome all Pagan brothers and sisters.

You are all invited to attend the first annual Weaving dance. This is a ritual of community and vision. Together as a tribe we will gathering to do deep ritual, diving into the realm of myth and metaphor, praying for vision for the benefit of our pagan tribe.

This dance is designed to be the counterpart to Beltane on the Beach. Where Beltane is an outward celebration of renewal, this dance will the inward journey as we all prepare for the darkest part of the year. The Weaving will craft a sacred space where we all find soul deep connection to the land, the people and the gods. From this Pagan place, we will reach for vision, not for ourselves, but for the benefit of the entire Maine pagan community. Many of us work in the realm of trance and vision but it is almost always deep personal work or for someone close to us. This ritual will be for our greater tribe.

We hope you will join us for this new ritual as we dance together, weaving intention, honoring our heritage, our ancestors of blood and spirit, praying for a vision to sustain us and the future generations of Pagan peoples.
