Meeting between groups and individuals
Event Details: What I'm trying to do is coordinate a series of meetings twice a year between different practioners of the Craft, whether they be individuals or members of covens. What this would be is an opportunity for different groups and individuals in the Ypsilanti area to talk to each other. This would be a series of two meeting twice a year. The first meeting would be just to allow people to get to know each other as people, seperate from being members of the Craft.
Dicussion about mythology, religion, stones, and herbs would be encouraged, as well as whatever else people want to talk about. Talk of the Craft would be set for a seperate night. What I'm trying to do is provide a place and a time where different groups and individuals would be able to meet with each other. Because I want to provide a date and a time that as many people as possible can make, I need everyone who is interested to email me at ranasummoner@gmail.com by Oct. 21st with a list of times and days that they will be available the week before and two weeks after Samhain. I will find two dates that are within that time period that the majority of people can make, at a time that the majority of people can make. If at all possible, I try to make sure that everyone who wants to participate will be able to attend at least one meetin. Also, in the spirit of cooperation and communication beteween communities and individuals, we have a blogspot where people can feel free to discuss whatever they want, as long as the conversation is polite. I am also trying to start a community almanac so that different groups and individuals will be more familiar with the different ideas that
other people have about herbs, stones, myths and whatever. The blog is http://ranasummoner.blogspot.com.
I will have the times and dates by Oct.22nd and I will let everyone who is interested know, as well as announce it both here and on the blog.
