Spirit's Edge Shamonial Temple [Witchvox Sponsor] announces...

Mabon / Autumn Equinox Ritual & Salon

When: Sep. 21st. 2019
Where: Webster Groves, Missouri

Join us in a celebration to turn the Wheel of the Year at Mabon!

Event Details: We look forward to having you join us for our Spirit’s Edge Shamonial Temple’s Mabon / Autumn Equinox Ritual & Salon on Sat., Sept. 21, 6:30 p.m., at the Hearth Room in Webster Groves! Read on for all the details, which should answer any questions you may have. We so look forward to celebrating the sabbat with you!

We offer a Public Sabbat Ritual Series with Salon Discussion to celebrate in community, join with Spirit and turn the Wheel of the Year! Each sabbat has a short teaching and discussion component called "A Seeker's Salon, " followed by a formal ritual and “feasting & fellowship” after the ritual. We welcome those of all traditions and paths. We welcome those that are brand new to the path and experienced practitioners. The ritual is explained during the Salon discussion, so no worries if it’s your first time, and everyone is welcoming! We change pantheons that we partner with at each ritual, so each ritual is unique! All are welcome to join our Spirit’s Edge: A Seeker’s Salon group page where you may access our private event pages - https://www.facebook.com/groups/143014982512092/members/. We also have public event pages on our Spirit’s Edge: Shamonial Temple Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/SpiritsEdgeShamonialTemple and on our two Meetup pages (The Eclectic at Spirit’s Edge and the Witches, Shamans, Mages & Pagan Community Meetup at Spirit’s Edge) .

**After Ritual Feasting & Fellowship:
Please bring a food item to share in the feasting after the ritual. If you have any questions on what to bring, please let us know. Generally we like to suggest that it’s something you like to eat or make because it’s more fun to share that way!

**Location:
The Hearth Room, nestled behind the historic Hawken House in Webster Groves, MO at 1155 S Rock Hill Rd, Webster Groves, MO 63119. We have access to a beautiful outdoor garden and a working fireplace! It is an absolutely stunning venue and we’re so blessed to have our rituals at this location. Our rental payments which our ritual fees go towards, also benefit the nonprofit historical Hawken House, which is an added plus.

**Attire & Ritual Etiquette & What Other things to Bring**

Dress for the weather of the time of year and in layers. Temperatures may be cool for some inside. Also, we may go outside if it’s not raining, at any time of the year. For when we have guided meditations/ journeys, you may want to bring a cushion to sit on or a blanket to sit/lay on or otherwise cover up with and maybe even something to cover your eyes if that’s helpful. We’ll announce on the event page if the ritual working will include a guided meditation.

For attire…. Ritual attire is awesome. Black/dark colors are always great, or seasonal colors; capes and robes welcome; no alcohol or under the influence. Attire is usually more of a question asked by the ladies. We do have some ladies that wear skirts because they like to. We also have some ladies who wear shorts or jeans. Some folks wear robes or capes and some don’t. Some people like to dress up and dress a little witchier - like the time to sport your black and fun witchy ensembles or jewelry. But some like to come understated. And some just come as they are. Really, we want folks to be dressed how they like and how they're most comfortable.

Rattles/Drums…Some rituals we build power with rattling and drumming, so you’re welcome to bring your own rattle or drum. We also have some rattles for folks to use. We usually mention it on the event page.

Standing or Sitting?... Sometimes we're not feeling our best physically, like we may have something going on and such (surgery, injury, etc.) , and sometimes there's a reason why it's not easy for us to stand, a host of reasons. I've even had these times myself. There are many of our members who find it difficult to stand. Our rituals are *totally* a judgement free zone!! On this and any other topic! That means our members and the Gods/Goddesses/spirits understand that we're humans in human bodies. We have chairs for a reason - one for everyone around the circle. If you have any difficulty standing for any reason, you're encouraged to use the chairs. You can even sit the whole time, no worries! You'll still be just as much a part of the ritual and the Circle if you're seated as if you're standing for certain parts of the rituals. I just wanted to share that. We all come to the ritual with different things. The important thing is to be there. To be a part of community. To share in all the good energy. And to bring that back to your daily life.

For other ritual etiquette information and questions, please email ravins522522@mypacks.net or post your question on the event page.

**Free Tokens & Drawings**
Each person attending will receive a free token in remembrance of the ritual, charged with the energy of the ritual! Sometimes we also have free drawings.

**Sales Table**
In addition, we have a sales table where you may buy really cool magickal items made or donated by our members! For the sales table, we take cash or credit card. There are some really cool items! :)

**After Ritual Follow-Up**
Be sure to ground and be gentle with yourself after the energy from a ritual and drink plenty of water.

If we have a guided meditation, we will offer it online for sale (for audio access) to benefit our Temple. If we don’t have a guided meditation, we may post an abbreviated online ritual for our distance members after the ritual.

**Transportation Tips**
Please be sure to arrange your own transportation both to and from the ritual *prior* to arriving at the ritual. There are buses that we are told run to Rock Hill Rd/Big Bend prior to the ritual. However, the buses do not run when our ritual is over. We are not able to provide transportation to/from the bus/metrolink routes, nor to/from the ritual, nor arrange transportation for you. You can call Uber or Lyft if you do not have a car or a ride. You might check out the Metrolink schedule and then arrange an Uber to and from the Metrolink. You'll need to have your own cell phone to install the app to arrange the Uber. I believe you can pre-order the pickup time/place with Uber, so you can have it all pre-arranged before you come to the ritual. As for timing of dropoff/pickup for Uber, registration starts at 6:30 p.m. and the event begins at 7 p.m., so arriving anytime between there is perfect. The after-ritual feasting ends about 10:30-10:45 p.m. Sometimes our rituals themselves can run long so that's a safe time to arrange pickup ... Prior to the ritual, you may arrange to ride share with a member by posting it on our event page and then private messaging with anyone who says they are interested in ride sharing with you to/from the ritual. It is not guaranteed that there will be a member that can ride share.

**All are welcome!**
We welcome any honest spiritual seekers to join us in circle and celebration. If you have any questions or concerns, send them to us via ravins52252mypacks.net. Blessed be!
