Celebrating the Sabbats, A Series w/ Rachael

When: Nov. 3rd. 2012 - Sep. 21st. 2013
Where: St. Louis, Missouri

Classes and Ritual

Event Details: The Sabbats are eight annual holidays roughly six weeks apart that have their roots in agrarian cultures and solar festivals. The celebration of the Sabbats tells us a story and in this story we learn the lessons of connecting to the cycles of creation, destruction and resurrection within our lives. This turning of the Wheel of the Year teaches us of the magick of the Sabbats as we align with the energy of the seasons, our planet, and the Goddess and God. This series looks at the Sabbats with each of the eight classes occurring close to the actual Sabbat dates. The classes can be taken individually or as a series. Those who complete seven of the classes in this series will be offered the eighth at no cost. The class includes a study on the Sabbat, handouts, and a ritual where you can experience the Sabbat with a local group who has been doing the Sabbat rituals together for over four years. All are welcome; these classes can supplement an eclectic practice whether solitary or group work. Though studying the Sabbats holds significance, it is within the ritual work that one can experience and connect with their deeper meaning, and exploring how it resonates with each of us personally.
Samhain, our first celebration in the series, happens on Saturday, November 3, 7 – 9 pm, $25 Please reserve in advance, thank you.
