Highland Wild Coven announces...
The Hidden Children Wiccan Open Court
When: Every Other Saturday
Where: Marshall, North Carolina
Ritual, Learning, Meditation, Sharing, Potluck & Crafting
Event Details: The Highland Wild Coven offers on-going Open Court sessions twice a month for Dedicants (pre-Initiation) and those who are sersiously considering Dedication to the Wiccan path with the possibility of priest/esshood, initiation, and membership in the inner coven.
While much information pertaining specifically to Wicca is covered, we also explore a variety of subjects or activities that are complementary to the practice. To know thyself is a cornerstone of Wiccan practice and philosophy, and so we weave meditation, journey, and self-examination into every session. They are designed as much to teach someone about Wicca as they are to provide safe and sacred space of spiritual growth. Some activities are for learning material, making items, or discussing arcane subjects. We host either a Full Moon or New Moon ceremony each month. Some coven Dedicants may be invited to join inner coven Sabbats, Esbats or other special ceremonies as deemed appropriate.
This is also the space the coven gets to know potential initiates into the priest/ess hood, however, interest in joining the coven is not a pre-requisite to attending the Open Court. Please call or email to set up a time to meet with a member of the coven if you are interested.
