In the Presence of Brighid: An Imbolc Day Retreat

An Imbolc day retreat honoring the goddess Brighid
Event Details: A day retreat honoring the Goddess Brighid facilitated by Jude Lally & Byron Ballard.
Both Jude & Byron are independent scholars, having published work on their research of Brighid. They are both featured in the upcoming book 'Brigit: Sun of Womanhood' published by Goddess Ink and edited by the late Patricia Monaghan.
Our day will offer a devotional retreat where we will create sacred space through ritual, singing, art, chanting, meditation and discussion to honor the Goddess Brighid.
Each person will create a design on a scarf, veil or ruanna (which you provide) reflecting elements of your relationship with Brighid. These garments then will be consecrated as we wear them in ritual. Full instruction in needle felting and all craft materials will be provided.
Lunch is provided - Scotch broth, stew and soda bread, you will also receive a resource pack and we invite you to be inspired by your vision of Brighid , that may be a favorite green or gold skirt.
All details of what to bring, directions etc will be emailed to you after booking. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
