Runic Ritual and meditation
Event Details: The third Thursday of the month 6-9pm, Runic Ritual and meditation.
When people start exploring the runes, it is most common to study the rune's meanings for divination purposes. However, the runes are so much more, the runes are energy, energy to transform, to heal and to awaken.
One of the most powerful forms of runic magic is to chant the sound of a rune in order to invoke its energy, and to meditate on the rune's deeper meaning. This chanting or use of sound/song is known in the Northern Tradition as galdr or galdor.
At this ritual we will chant the gladr of the ancient Futhark runes. By drum and song. Each circle will focus a meditation on a specific rune as well as discussion time to deepen our understanding of the runes and their uses.
