Samhain Path Walk
Event Details: Samhain Path Walk – November 3, 2012 from 5-9
** The ritual has been modified from a Path Walk due to standing water in the trails. We will still be hosting a ritual **
The thread of your life is a measured piece...do you dare tread the path through the Underworld? Please join the Ancestors and Gods for the first annual Samhain Path Walk. Open yourself to meet with the gods of death and the worlds below as we brush, and possibly cross, the Veil. Walk the path through the land of the dead, where loved ones have gone before you. Visit with your ancestors and listen to their words. We hope this experience will be transformative for all who venture.
The Kithrowan Tribe will be hosting a Samhain Ritual and Walk to benefit A Sacred Place.
Donations will be gladly accepted.
This is an outdoor event so dress warmly and wear sturdy shoes.
A potluck feast and fellowship will follow the walk, please bring a dish to share.
Event Location: 970 NH Route 118 in Canaan
Event TIME Details: 5pm - 9pm
Directions: Directions:
From I-89: Exit 17 - US Route 4 (Enfield/Canaan) . Go Right at the bottom of the ramp. Stay on Route 4 through Enfield and into Canaan Village. At the fork at the Canaan Green go Left onto Route 118 (you will pass the Police & Fire Station on your right) . Stay on Route 118 for 4-5 miles. ASP is # 970 on your right.
From I-93: Exit 26 – Tenney Mountain Highway (Plymouth) . Follow Tenney Mt Hwy all the way to the rotary. Take your first exit out of the rotary onto Route 25. Stay on Route 25 through Rumney and look for a small cemetery on your right, followed by a gas station. Just after the gas station turn Left onto Route 118. Stay on Route 118 through Groton, Dorchester, and into Canaan. ASP is approximately 10 miles from the junction of Route 25 & Route 118. ASP is #970 and on your left.
