Open Druidic Samhain Ritual

Open ritual in the Celtic tradiition
Event Details: When the darkness grows, it is right to honor the Ancestors; not just those who gave us our lives, but who gave us our culture, all those dead who brought us to where we are. It is time to thank them, and most of all, to remember them.
We will be performing a ritual, then, of remembrance and renewal. We will go to the dead, and invite them to join us for a time, and then send them on their way with honor.
At our rituals, we provide a time for anyone to make whatever offerings they want to whatever Deities, Dead, or Land Spirits they want. These can be burned in the fire, or poured on the ground, or put into our offering shaft. They can be prayers, or songs, or dances, or other non-material offering as well. These offerings aren't required, so don't worry if you don't want to make one. However, please be prepared to call out the names of one or a few of your honored dead, whether those of your genes or those of your culture.
The ritual will be outdoors, and after dark, so please dress for the weather. It is not appropriate for children There will be an indoor feast to follow.
