Charming of the Plow
Event Details: Landsegen ("Land-Blessing") - or "Charming of the Plow"
The Charming of the Plough is an agricultural ritual where grains and cakes are offered to the ancestors, Gods, and landspirits, for the soil’s fertility. Celebrated at this time of transition between the darkness in to the light. As days grow longer the earth awakens to bloom once again.
We meditate upon our dependence on the soil, as well as the harnessing of the creative force in all the ways that enable us to sustain ourselves and to nourish our families.
Please join us as we celebrate.
Meeting at 2pm - Ritual at 2:30. Feast to follow!
Feel free to bring any tools you use for consecration - laptops, crafting tools, garden tools, etc.
