Open Imbolc Ritual

A Druidic Ritual for Imbolc
Event Details: In the cold of winter we gather at the warm hearth to honor the goddess whose flame burns there, the Triple Brigid. We offer her milk, and bread, and fire, and ask from her the flames of inspiration, of health, and of creativity. We invite her into our homes and lay out a meal for her, and ask her to stay and continually be our guest, blessing the home we share.
There will be a point in the ritual for each person to make their own offerings to whatever spiritual beings they want (if they want) . We always have incense, butter, and beans on hand, so last minute offerings are no problem, but if you want to give something special make sure you bring it. Offerings can be physical objects, thrown into the fire or put into our ritual shaft, a poem, a song, a prayer, or anything else you think the recipient would like. Again, not required, but the choice is there.
Nemos Ognios is a protogrove of Ár nDráiocht Féin (ADF) , the largest druidic organization in America. Founded by Isaac Bonewits, it’s committed to worshiping the gods, learning about the past and today’s world, and good old-fashioned hospitality. So naturally they’ll be not just a ritual, but conversation and a feast afterwards.
Oh, and we’re serious about the dime.
