Intro to Wiccan Spirituality
Event Details: Merry meet,
I warmly welcome you to join us to get basic information about Wicca. If you have not yet chosen your path but are interested in learning about Wicca, you are welcome as well. This is a great opportunity for everyone, female or male, interested in learning, sharing, and discussing Wiccan knowledge. The only requirements are that you must be at least 18 years old or attend with your parent, relate well with others, be a positive person, have a serious desire to learn or share your knowlege, and most importantly, have an open mind and a friendly personality.
Most importantly, there is no group unless you are there to participate. Therefore I feel that if there is a subject you want to discuss, then we should be discussing it. After all you will only be attending if you are interested in what we are talking about!
Subject handouts will be distributed, and a book selection will be made based off of group interest at times for discussion. If you plan to come please rsvp with me as soon as possible in advance to find out where we are meeting. I prefer to meet in advance at a public place so we can get to know each other before you attend if possible. That way both of us can feel better knowing what we are like and if we are compatable as the classes are held at my home.
It is my goal that everyone feels comfortable to participate and ask questions, and that this is a positive environment with pleasant and interesting conversation, and NO NEGATIVITY! I hope that we can all learn and share what we know so we can grow spiritually stronger and smarter, and use the gifts the Goddess and God have given us to make this world a better place.
Some examples of things we will do in addition to just learning and discussion are making spell crafts, discuss the homeopathic and magickal properties of herbs and give samples from my herb garden, mixing aromotherapy oils, studying various methods of divination, guided meditations, discussing crystals and their uses, working with the chakras, how to write your own spells, and writing rituals.
For those who are interested in participating, I hold open sabbats and esbats; send me a message should you be interested in attending I warmly welcome you.
