Audience of the Ancestors- Open Samhain Ritual

Ritual Audience with the Mighty Dead

Event Details: Audience of the Ancestors is a Samhain ritual Open to the Public that opens a direct portal for ritual attendees to have audience the Mighty Dead and the Ancestors. This ritual is being offered for the first time ever in New Jersey. It will be performed by the Assembly of the Sacred Wheel simultaneously in NJ, PA, and DE this year. At 5pm there will be a class on the nature of the Ancestors Ritual will start promptly at 8pm. Pre-registration is required. Email the coven to RSVP at owt@sacredwheel.org. Requested fee to cover rental costs and materials $20.
Location: Camp Glen Gray in Mahwah NJ. Note: The venue is rustic and participants will need study shoes to hike up a stony hill to the amphitheater where the ritual will be held. Order of the World Tree is a Staff coven in the circle of Capricorn. The Order seeks the pinnacle of magickal excellence and the nadir of integration of personal knowledge of all parts of self. We seek the manifestation of Will and the re-enchantment of the world. The coven is a part of the Pagan community as a whole, offering regular public teaching and rituals as part of this effort to re-enchantment of the world.

From the Garden State Parkway -or- the NJ Turnpike Take the Garden State Parkway North to exit 160. At end of exit ramp, make a left and go 0.6 miles following the signs for Route 208 North Take the NJ Turnpike North to Route I-80 West to Route 17 North to Route 4 West. Just past the Garden State Parkway, Route 4 turns into Route 208 North. Take Route 208 North for 11.3 miles (turns into I-287 South) to Exit 58, marked Route 202, Oakland At end of exit ramp (at the light) , turn right onto Route 202 North Take Route 202 North 1.5 miles to Glen Gray Road (see the Glen Gray sign opposite the road on the right just like the logo at the top of this page) Turn left onto Glen Gray Road and go over the steel bridge Turn right onto Midvale Mountain Road Take this road for 0.6 miles. Take Pompton Avenue North (Route 23) from Bloomfield Avenue Stay on Route 23, across Routes 46 and 80, beyond Wayne/Packanack Lake area to Route I-287 North Take Route I-287 North to Exit 58, marked Route 202, Oakland At end of exit ramp (at the light) , turn left for 0.2 miles to next light (keep left) Turn left at this light onto Route 202 North Take Route 202 North 1.9 miles to Glen Gray Road (see the Glen Gray sign opposite the road on the right just like the logo at the top of this page) Turn left onto Glen Gray Road and go over the steel bridge Turn right onto Midvale Mountain Road Take this road for 0.6 miles.
