LGBT Ritual: Circle on Magickal Protection
Event Details: Welcome to the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender open Pagan Circle.
This circle has been created with the intention of creating sacred space where the integrated GLBT Pagan community can gather to worship, learn and explore the Divine both within and without.
We are not a single Tradition and do not offer one way. Our members come to us with different spiritual backgrounds and practices with different experiences as diverse as those in attendance.
The diverse personal experience of those Brothers and Sisters who lead our circles will be as diverse as the spiritual/magickal system and traditions they work with. We welcome and celebrate diversity yet also strive to find the common ground within many of the spiritual/magickal traditions whether they be Traditional Witchcraft, Wicca or other traditions and spiritual/magickal systems.
We all are students and teachers. We all have gifts to share and gnosis to uncover. Come circle with your Spiritual Sisters and Brothers as we strive to connect to the deeper mysteries of our inner and outer worlds.
About February 25th
All of us seek protection in various forms in our mundane lives. We take vitamins and eat well to protect our health. We buckle our seatbelts when we drive cars. We take self-defense classes to help us ward off physical attacks. We use safe sex methods to protect us from disease.
We should also be prepared to protect ourselves in non-physical and magickal ways as well. Who among us has not felt completely drained of energy by certain people or situations in our daily lives? We can certainly feel when our personal space is being violated or can feel the effect of negativity in a room.
When the topic of Protection Magick comes up it also will raise questions of ethics. How does this form of magick relate to the Three Fold Law or the Wiccan Reede? What exactly are we speaking of when we use the term Protection Magick?
