Event Details: TAROT MINOR & MAJOR ARCANA: This is an intensive class. Going into its history to present day. Its many uses in our lives today and taking you to where you can read your own tarot or read for someone else. Booklet included in price. You may bring a deck with you or we do have decks for purchase.
Bring pen and notebook --- Taught by Athena
This course will center on learning the basics of the Tarot: History,
uses, keys to interpreting the cards, spreads and methods of reading.
$30.00 per class; $150.00 if pre-registered for all 6 classes. Students will receive the course booklet and a coupon worth 15% off of one Tarot reading.
Athena has been a practicing witch and medium for nearly twenty years. Largely self-taught, her main areas of expertise and interest are Astrology, Tarot, Scrying and Magical Herbalism. Over the years, Athena has taught workshops and one-on-one classes in each of these subjects, which have been very well received. She has been acquainted with Starr Ravenhawk for over ten years and is extremely pleased to have the opportunity to offer these workshops and classes once again, under her auspices.
Athena and her son, Setanta, hail from New York City. They have one cat, who she would like to stress is not a familiar, but only a good friend.

This note to you is quite over due. My friend A. Gray and I took Athena's 2 week tarot class and thought it was wonderful. Obviously, we had no idea what to expect and were so delighted. Athena is incredibly inteliigent, down to earth, and able to convey a great deal of complex information clearly. That said, Alex and I asked her if she would consider teaching a more intensive tarot series in the fall. I know of two other friends as well as the two of us who would definately sign up for it. And many others whom we spoke to said they would be interested as well.
I also wanted to compliment you on what a lovely store you've created. I've been in many other wiccan/pagan stores that have the feel of a clubhouse where I am not a member, but you have created a very welcoming space.
