The veil has parted, we've done our private and public rituals, and now the time has arrived to surrender. Come, join us November 3rd at Dixon Place to celebrate with revelry that most infamous sabbat, and witches new year, Samhain. This will be an inter-coven soiree and gathering of the magical peoples of New York City. Feel free however to invite any of your muggle friends who're ready to have a wonderful time. This party carries forward the momentum and commitment to the pagan renaissance occurring in New York city fostered by the many wonderful community events that have occurred this year. It is an opportunity to bolster and affirm our NYC community.
Dueling Diva DJ's Formidable Witch and Miss Martini will delight our ears and move our bodies.
Wild Women Lilliana Damiana will be at the bar, while Reagan serves up shots and spankings. Tip them well!
Your hosts for the evening include; bad boy of Dixon, Thane Damon Stang, Mr. “Eat my Pagan Ass” Luckylicious, Satyr about town Gary Suto, and Dylan le Fay.
There'll be a full bar to lower your defenses, and performances throughout the night to excite the senses.
What to Bring: We'll have an altar set for the mighty and beloved dead, please bring images of beloved dead; family, friends, pets, or influential icons you would like on the altar. Flowers for the dead, and for the living are always lovely. Non Perishable food items will be offered up to the dead and then donated to City Harvest. Every little candle helps.
Food and Snacks to share. Although there is a full bar (cash/credit) the bar will not be serving food. Delivery options are available.
A table will be set aside for those who want to honor the age old practice of offering divination on Samhain to the community. So bring your cards, runes, bones, and entrails. If interested in reading please either speak to Dylan or Damon in advance or sign up at the bar the evening of if there is space available.
