Dancing with the Flame- A Candle Magick Workshop
When: Nov. 14th. 2009

Learn how to Dance with the Flame during the start of winter!
Event Details: Please bring your own pull-out candle or any other size candle-diversity is good! (Pull out candles, commonly called a 7 day candle, is a large candle that comes in a tall jar. People often pull out the candle for decoration. You can purchase them for 6-8 dollars each in many occult supply shops and Botanicas) If you want to bring oils or glitter, please do. We will have supplies at the ready for your use as well. A short candle consecration ritual will end the afternoon, and rather than focusing too much on providing you with a pre-set recipe book of correspondences and symbols, we will focus on using candle lore and history, intuition, common sense, and a "5 senses" approach to spell work.

West 72nd St. Studios is located between Amsterdam and Columbus. Look for the red door, slightly closer to Columbus. Nearby is a shoe store and a pet shop. We will be in room 2, but check the white board on the second floor for any room changes.
Take the 1, 2, or 3 trains to 72nd St. and Broadway and walk towards Central Park. The C train is also nearby. Try using hopstop.com for good directions
