BrightFlame and friends announces...

NYC Beltane (& Earth Day) Ritual

When: Apr. 27th. 2012
Where: New York City, New York

A Reclaiming Tradition ritual to celebrate Beltane and Earth Day

Event Details: Please join BrightFlame and friends for a Reclaiming Tradition ritual to celebrate Earth Day and the approach of Beltane. The Earth calls us to dance! The elements rise as our allies! Time to bloom, buzzzz and create love!

We welcome our Occupy friends - this will be a wonderful opportunity for healing and recharging. We'd like to create ritual for and with Occupy folks in public space in the future - if you are interested in taking part we especially encourage you to join us April 27 to see which element calls to you (let us know if you'd be interested even if you can't join us this time) .

Expect: magic!

Bring: yourself with the intention to participate in a Reclaiming style ritual.

Cost: $5 donation appreciated towards our space rental and costs.

Encouraged: finger food or (non-alcoholic) beverage to share after the ritual. To keep disposables to a minimum, aim for food we can eat on napkins and with fingers. We'll provide napkins, some serving utensils and cups.

Ritual items (optional) : You are welcome to bring objects for the altar.

Where: A lovely space near Bank and Washington in the far West Village, Manhattan. RSVP for exact location. (closest subway: 14th street stops on 7th or 8th Avenues) . Street parking is often available. Our space is accessible.

Timeframe: please be considerate and arrive at 7:30pm. We may not allow entry once we cast the circle--at priestess' discretion. Ritual will last roughly 90 minutes, followed by sharing food and socializing.

Note that Reclaiming events are clean and sober.

Questions and rsvp: rsvp@nycReclaiming.org
