Event Details: ***The Evolution of Witchcraft in the 21st Century***
A lecture on the development of Witchcraft since the 1960's and its evolutionary nature. This talk will discuss traditions, solitary practice, initiation (self and Coven) , training, the degree system, and the movement... toward Deity Centered Wicca.
Janet Farrar was initiated into the Alexandrian Tradition of Wicca in 1970 by Alex and Maxine Sanders. With her late husband Stuart, they wrote some of the most influential books on modern Witchcraft, including "A Witches' Bible, " "The Witches' Goddess, " and "Spells and How They Work."
Gavin Bone was initiated into Seax-Wicca in 1986 and was later initiated into the Alexandrian Tradition. He also trained as a Spiritual Healer and with Janet and Stuart Farrar, co-authored several books with them including "The Pagan Path, " "The Healing Craft, " and their most recent book "Progressive Witchcraft, " now released as "The Inner Mysteries."
Janet and Gavin have lectured internationally in Europe, New Zealand, South Africa, and the United States.
