Assembly of Capital Region Pagans announces...

Harvest Moot!

When: Sep. 29th. 2012
Where: Cohoes, New York

Celebrating the sacred harvest & reaping new skills in Peebles Island

Event Details: The Wheel has turned us once again into the harvest season so please join the Assembly of Capital Region Pagans and others from our community to celebrate the bounty of the the Earth Mother!

Experience the divine in ritual, expand your knowledge and skill through workshops, discover local resources such as the Spiral Scouts, and, of course, sit down a spell with everyone for a community pot-luck following the midday rites.

Our day in Peebles Island State Park will begin by gathering around the breastworks in the park's picnic area at ten o'clock in the morning followed by a series of harvest themed rites, various workshops, and guided walks through the beautiful island until we end the day with the dusk.

There will be a pot-luck after the noontime blot; the Assembly will be providing burgers, hotdogs, and everyone is asked to bring something to share for the sacred meal with the Earth Mother!

Please note that Peebles Island State Park maintains a carry-in/carry-out policy and we will all honor the Land in compliance
