Event Details: Rune Magick - Week 1 - Introduction to Runes
In this class we'll learn about the History and Lore of Runes, and how they can be used in modern craft working. We will discuss the properties each of the runes possess, and how these can be incorporated into your own magical practices. We'll begin with an overview of the whole Futhark, and their general meanings in preparation for the detailed information we'll cover in the weeks to follow.
You will also be asked what type of wood you would like to create your own set of runes with, or you can provide your own piece of wood to make the runes from. You will be provided with cut and sanded rune blanks and wood burners for the Rune Workshop (class 5) where you will make your own set of runes.
